Graphics Digital monitor signal?

Hi

I have just installed an ATI 4850 and I connected it to my Daewoo LCD monitor via its digital connection but it says no signal however if i connect the vga cable it works ok.
Can anyone tell me why this is as the radeon has two dvi native ports ?

maybe the monitor is not auto sensing.. select the dvi over vga input- should be in one of those manuals

Thanks fro the reply, I looked on the link but could not find my monitor
My monitor is a HL920WA lcd
Strange thing is my mobo has an onboard grphics chip (ati1250) an when the monitor was connected to this it worked ok but when connected to either port on the 4850 it says no signal detected.
Do I need to do something in the catalyst control center ?
