Just thought I'd mention that Digital SLR Photography magazine is running a Groupon offer for the next couple of days - you can get a year's subscription for £23, which is £20 less than it normally goes for. UK only tho mind. It's a title I pick up most months from the shelves here at Dennis. The editorial team know their stuff, and the little photo projects they have each month are usually pretty achievable, so it's a good read.
Thanks for the heads up. The name of the magazine doesn't inspire confidence, I tend to avoid those look like it's more about the gear (I've got CustomPC for that ). Is the magazine mostly about photography tips and little projects?
It's very much photography focused; the majority of the mag is techniques, projects and Photoshop/Lightroom tips. There is a hardware section at the back - usually a group test of something like tripods, backpacks or a certain type of lens. I spent a couple of days late last year actually doing some of the small projects/tutorials I'd ripped out and kept. I've linked the photoset below. http://www.flickr.com/photos/pgoodhead/sets/72157634944603758/
