Didn't crash once on the whole stage lol. Just done a snow race, which is a bit easier than I expected tbh but was still fun. Especially going into first corner not seeing a thing.

I am really enjoying dirt 3. however one thing that annoys me is that there is no option to quit once you have started a race, you either have to finish the race of alt-f4 out and risk corrupting your savegame or something. It's small things like that, that can often ruin an otherwise excellent game for me.

One thing that's pissing me off, is that it takes the piss on saving your wheel settings.

    hey,

to quit a race, press start (i am using a joy pad) and select retire

I thought the load times were ok. it may be your machine

personally i think there is too many snow events! although i love the african rally events and gymkhana. i didnt htink i would like it but they are really fun and i love getting battersea power station to play in and finish missions.

Also, go to my dirt then live and you can download 5 extra cars for free!

now i must get to sleep

I am really enjoying it so far. Its a cracking game. The graphics look amazing and make me want to hook it up to 3 screens!

I'm really liking this game so far, but I can't find a difficulty setting that really suits - i seem to win too easily with it on 5 but it takes me ~20mins per event of restarting to get close to winning if I set it to 6 (the max).

I havent noticed any load times worth speaking of, but it doesnt want to save my control settings for some reason so I have to set it up every time.

Aside from these issues it looks great and is a pretty sweet game.

My load times seem fine on a 1TB F3, I wish changing between H-pattern and sequential for different events was easier or both could be enabled at the same time ala shift 2. Not a big fan of the bland techno music in the loading screens, thought that it was well handled in dirt2.
    Still - Multiplayer anyone?

When you start the game, make sure you use your wheel to make the first input i.e. to skip the splash screens or at the 'press start or enter' screen. Then it should recall your wheel settings, at least this works for my gamepad.
