Hmm, no flaming here i know i did wrong??

I had a Gateway 2000 AT Full tower Case with a bit of style, i thought hmm how nice that would be modded ;)
Firstly i converted it to ATX, being a newbie realised i had a problem of turning it on and off afterwards. I gave the case an undercoat with some silver engine paint then a iffy top coat in black which gave off a nice look. Cut a window into the side and then popped out to get the perspex only to find that i couldnt find any so i improvised and used some Glass.. :) Yes Glass.
I stuck it to the case with glue and it looked the part, Sweet i thought... I then added a strobe from a car into the case and it looked real good for about 3 days..??!!?! :(

After the 3 days the strobe, seem to cause an electrical fault probably due to the use of quality sellotape.. So i had to remove it. ok i thought i leave the lighted part for now. A further 2 days went and while i was sat cruising the net the glass pealed away from the case and fell backwards in the process severing the lead on one of my "Exhaust Fan's" and sending sparks all over the shot. Then the PC died, how gutted was i.. After a reboot and clearing all the parts it worked fine again.
So i took a trip to the shop for a new case, and moved all me bits over to it..

Im ashamed of not having any quality piccies to show you all.. But if i did id be rather embarrased...

The moral to this story is always consult such excellent forums as Bit - Tech before attempting to Mod your case!!!
