I think this will be good for both parties, Marvel will be business as usual but with more sway in making Films/Animations and Disney gets to publish it and make money there.

I'm just afraid Disney will try to make the Marvel franchise a bit... too kid friendly. For example, I could never imagine Disney making any of the Blade films

Universal Studios already has a Marvel section. I wonder how it'll be affected by this deal.

One thing to remember is that the Disney company bought Marvel, which allows all of Disney's affiliated production companies access to the material. The greater Disney umbrella covers quite a few studios, including Touchstone.

A cursory look at the Touchstone film catalog will show that they are more than capable of producing grown up movies.

Disney may be expanding thier market with this move?

They already have a massive share of the little kids' market, maybe they are after a bigger share of the big kids market?

I hope that marvel will just act as a seperate entity just under the disney umbrella.

Marvel are already doing things well enough and i think disney will know this so will just use this aqusition to use their name on any marvel films that come out in future and just help fund them because all the studios do is provide the space to film, so the director and the rest will be from elsewhere.

Disney already produce good films that are not just for the younger generation, Pirates of the ciribbean is a matureish film which is similar to the style of most marvel films except ones like the punisher and daredevil.

Only time will tell if the aqusition by disney will have any adverse effects.
