Hello everyone! When my last mobilephone died, I got the idea that I should take the display from one of my 3 dead phones and use as a display to my computer. After searching for some help how to make it work, I gave up.. and went here instead. Can anyone help me? what I've got is a Sony Ericsson T200, Sony Ericsson T65 and a Siemens C45 Thanx for any help
try http://forum.lcdinfo.com/ and http://serdisplib.sourceforge.net/index.html the info forum has a few threads on mobile lcd, the second i aint played with but looks promising. hope that helped.
well... the forum was full of nokias, but no siemens or se.. and the other one had some ericssons, but not many.. none of the one's i've got but I bet I can steal my dads old A1018s..
I bought a replacement screen for some colour nokia that has an on board controller for £12 + P&P as new. I got some test patterns but nothing that great, as it seams it needs a faster controller, but at present my time is spent on something else
Last time i checked they were only using the black and white ones boring! But their code was fairly straight forward and could be ported to windows without much hassel
im up to hour 7 of learn c++ in 24 hours, so i might wait until im up to hour 18 before i give that a shot the other one is win anyway, so its all good
most of these are only C, not C++ and the C these things require u can be tought in 2 hours perfectly. (I'm a teaching assitant monkey part time during uni term).
