I knocked this up a while back but recently did a few upgrades to it and thought i may as well post it up :)

This is prolly the 4th plex bender ive made up over the years and after deciding today i want a larger one for bigger jobs it not ganna be the last ...

Just runs off a 12v HD battery with a charger unit attached... i like the battery as the 30+amps get the nichrome wire hot in seconds.

Ave added hot terminals for the power clamps with a power switch.

A side mech so i can set the top board to any angle and just recently added a top clamp for holding the plex in place while bending.... this was prolly the most use full addition... as not having 3 hands to work one of these is a real pain.

Happy to post up more info and parts list if needed.

For longer jobs i clamp down a strip of wood across the whole sheet

12v is sent to the terminals Red to on/off switch Then clamp direct to wire and black is remote wired to the other end of the nichrome wire.

This allows me to clamp the back board into position

The basic unit before all the "hop-ups" are added :D

looking good, I would maybe made a small plexi cover over the pins, preventing touching it then you reach for the on/off switch
