Do forum members still get free shipping from Scan?

A friend of mine often buys small things like fans from Scan and always complains he has to drive to Bolton to collect them (to save on the shipping fees). Wonder if I should advice him to become a bit-tech member for the free shipping, if it's still available.

 

I have this but from a multiplay i-series - I've since ordered vitually everything from Scan so probably a good investment on their part! There is a £20 minimum order either way so keep that in mind.

Hopefully someone can answer if the bit-tech offer still stands.

 

I don't think it's a thing anymore, since the commercial side of bit-tech no longer exists. Not for newcomers anyway (i.e. people who haven't already signed up for it) Even if it does, your friend would need to make a minimum of 20 constructive posts before being eligible.
