Motherboards Do I Need Standoff Screws??

    As part of a new rig build, do you need to buy stand off screws for the motherboard? or do these come with the case?

    They come with the case, along with all the other screws you generally need to.

    Agreed, every case I've ever build in has provided a back of screws and board mounts to fit all board sizes.

    Unless you're buying a second hand case from a complete tightwad of course ;)

    Most of the time this is true - sometimes case manufacturers do other things though, like in the corsair carbide 300R where the mobo tray is shaped instead. I have heard stories that these can lead to shorts in the board though...
