^+4 freaks me out sometimes... and feels totally random... especially when it involves places I've never been before
i used to be able to remember my dreams, but for the last while ( a couple of years) i either don't dream anymore, can't remember them or they are so convulted and twisted i don't want to remember them.
The strangest thing about my dreams is that I'm often not in them. They're sometimes third person 'movies'. I remember a few years ago I had one that had Anthony Edwards and Alex Kingston (and ER wasn't even on that night) in an alien invasion meets groundhog day scenario where they keep getting jumped back in time to a critical point to try and change the outcome and end up teaming with the previous iterations of themselves. I can even remember lines of dialogue, and certain sequences vividly - some of which I think stands up pretty well - and is probably better than anything my conscious mind could come up with.
But you can say that about normal vision, most of what we "see" we dont actually see, I forget how wide the central part of your DOF is but its pretty narrow, the rest is filled in by your memory of the space your in and what your mind expects to see. I know that this applies to detail, I dont know how it applies to colour. Moriquendi
OMG me too!! It happened just recently when I was at work.. it was the most weird feeling. I get nightmares a lot.. sometimes I think I've woken up but they're still there. It's a very bizarre feeling. Lately they've been involving London - probably because I'm stressed about going.. or that the plane will fall out of the sky somehow.
from what i can remember ive always dreamed in color. I didnt have dreams for a while but ive just started playing bf2 again for about an hour eveynight before i go to sleep and ive been having some crazy dreams.
Dreams, yep heard of them, remember about one a year (sometimes 2, sometimes none ), then my foot hits the floor and it's gone. Though I do get that weird deja-vu thing quite often and usually attribute it to a dream (but I'm probably just brain damaged) I remember dreaming (in colour) like that when I was a kid - after playing Atari 2600 games for hours.
Well I can barely remember my dreams when I wake up thses days, only from deja vus during the day I suddenly remember. Kinda sucks cause I JUST woke up and I have no idea what I dreamt about, or if I even dreamt about anything I think my dreams aren't in colour either. WHY don't I dream anymore!?!? I also haven't had a nightmare for years, like since I was 12 I'm 18 now, that however is a good thing haha.
I always dream about computer things ! I think I dream with colour and full multimedia like the day time ! this cool to know how the project will look like and how it will walk and etc ! good luck in dreams
I'm certain I always dream in colour. I went through a phase of dreaming about being asleep but it was always in the third person. But then I would wake up in the dream and it was back to first person. It can get very confusing when you wake up twice.
Another one on the deja vu front, thou i havnt had any for a while, seemed to have grown out of seeing the future in my dreams...
i had a dream the other night, it was black and white, but then there was colours mixed in, kinda like schindlers list, with the little girl in the red coat. Usually 1st person, sometimes 3rd and people don't speak, i just know what they say. It's wierd. I usually dream when I'm half awake, or at least I remember my dreams when I'm half awake. Also get the Deja Vu dreams, haven't had one since I was about 18 though
has anyone had that kind of dream were you are falling and you wake up as if you were hitting the bed? I randomly have some of those....
Not the bed....but usually a very hard surface. I had one where a really good friend of mine was on a windsurfer on land ( it had wheels ) and i set him off and he went down the side of this steep hill, i ran to catch up, fell over the edge and hit a rock right in my mouth, and it felt like my teeth smashed out, and i woke up convinced they had, and i was checking my teeth were there with my toungue! Most releastic dream ive had ever!
One of the craziest deja vu's I've had in my life was dreaming of going to a shopping place near the London transport museum before I'd ever been. Having arrived there I had a big WTF moment... Personally the worst dreams are where you "feel great" and wake to realise you've pissed yourself. "Hmmm, what a niceee warm feeling - W T F"
I have a few dreams that are beige with pink round things XD Oh I am teh funnies. But yeah, as far as I can remember, my dreams have always been in colour
I don't dream, just fall into a deep sleep and wake up at about 7am, 5 minutes before my alarm goes off. Although, I used to get some of the those Deja-Vu moments quite regularly when i was younger.
