I'm trying to figure out if I'm crazy or normal; every day, all day, my mind insists on playing music. If there is relatively no noise in the location I'm in, for example, at work, then I hear music in my head, usually the same song looping for a period before changing to something else. Does anyone else have this going on?

EDIT: Why can't I find the poll feature?

There is always music in my head too, unless there is another playing in real life.

Yep +3 here. Happens to me too.

As per tradition, it's usually the most annoying part of a very annoying song.

My brain plays tunes at all times. It jumps around a lot naturally, but I dont mind as most stuff remixes into something weird, which ends up being entertaining most of the time.

I know music, but I dont know the names all that much if at all.

    :)

I do it all the time. When I'm listening to music, I'll often listen to the same album over and over again so I can go from song to song in my head later.

Only Always. My wife says I hum stuff when I'm feeling good that isn't even on the radio anymore. I do tend to remember the last song on the radio when I get out of the car! Sticks with me till the music at my desk cuts in.

Absolutely, happens quite often - though more commonly now after I've started playing guitar hero 3 with the missus. :D
(Only thing I'm worried about in that regard is carpal tunnel syndrome in my left wrist).

Sometimes I hear music and I cannot find the source!!

Eh, if I'm relaxed and was listening to music recently, I'll think a few phrases through. I guess it could be worse - sometimes I drift off and start trying to rationalize random things like atomic physics.

I can hear music in my head lots of the time, it's currently Afterlife by Avenged Sevenfold, but for most of the day it was Her Portrait in Black by Atreyu and just like small parts of each song was playing again and again.

I don't hear music. I see fight scenes and I guess that's weird too. Every where I go and everytime my mind has a chance to wander all I can 'see' with my imagination are kung-fu fight scenes, zombie attacks and superheroes brawls.

Twist, grapple, lock, choke-hold, leap over the bannister....it fills the walk to work.

OMG thanks god other ppl have this thought i was going nuts. i use to get it alot worst when i was younger. (I'd swear i was hearing the radio) but now that im older it only happens every now and then and its more of the "song stuck in my head" then playing in my head.

Every morning when I get up and it's all quiet. The annoying thing is that it's usually songs I don't like, and only a line or two over and over again. Normally end up putting the radio on to make it stop
