I doubt that map is entirely accurate as most of the cameras listed in my area are temorary ones, either police or warwickshire casualty reduction partership. However, the locations are very accurate. They should have another coloumn to indicate fixed cameras or otherwise.

I'm fairly sure that all the cameras listed for Backburn are correct. Never seen any others apart from those.

 

The ones listed for Lothian seem about right, I used to have one that showed traffic light cameras as well but lost it.

 

Every second Sunday or so theres a cop who sits across the road from us. Sleeping or reading a book half the time with the engine running and Air Conditioning running. So i go out and taunt him and ride round with no helmet on.

 

got a ticket from one of those once it sucked, middle of the freakin night ONE CAR WAS ABOUT TO GO, i was following someone in a place i didnt know the roads so i didnt wanna lose them and then get myself lost, it really sucked but now my speeding tickets are the sucky things all 4 of them all for going more then 20 MPH over the speed limit, one ticket i avoided getting arrested by 1MPH and i had blue lights that were on, on my hood. Man i love to drive fast but it can get you into some real sh|t

 

Any site for canada UK doesnt help me out alot.

 

The ones in Norfolk are way out of date... there are another four I know of.

 

Just found another camera today - Blackburn road (A666) in Darwen.

Testing "for signs of overheating" in my car was fun

Almost hurt myself braking so hard...

 

The Wolverhampton list doesn't seem very good at all, there's loads missing. A449, Henwood Road, Cannock road....cameras aplenty on those routes, but not even mentioned

There's another one in Burnley Road in Accrington if anyone goes down there, half way down, next to the Esso station - watch out NW people... (not the you can find ANYTHING reasonable in that bit of Accrington anyway...)

Leeds is infested with speed cameras now, and the mobile ones are everywhere, I normally see 1-2 per journey.
Oh, and I got done twice for doing 36 and 37MPH in 30MPH zones, absolutely f*****g pathetic.

to UK traffic police, nothing better to do obviously.

 

I wouldn't say it because they have nothing better to do, it's more a case of motorists are an easy target. All the fines produce revenue for the government & police forces and as a result the police are more then happy to pounce on the unsuspecting motorist.

 

Yep Norwich sucks for speed camera's now, litreally everywhere that one down Sweet Biar Road sucks. (I live in Norwich too )

The worst place to put a speed camera is on a steep hill (30MPH max) Grapes Hill Sucks as well :| What car do you drive Atomic?

One of these Not this exact one anymore cos the engine overheated and died. Got a whole new car, but it's a lighter blue and has a different (better IMO) interior.
