Oh, and as the only gay in the village forum*, I agree with Malvolio. Although having missed most of hippoz' other homophobic posts, I'd assumed he was just kidding around, and didn't take it too seriously.

Unlike other contraceptives if the woman decides she wants to have children she will be fertile a week after having the implant removed. My wife has just had her first implant removed and is having her second fitted this week so I have been bombarded with discussions on contraceptive choices.

 

I have to disagree. My girlfriend had one for 3 months, and it made me want to murder her. It just gave her these vile mood swings, it was impossible to spend more than an hour with her sometimes because she'd be fine, then all of a sudden she'd just start arguing with everything i'd say or just start being funny with me.

I'm sure it's not the same for everyone, but i'm never letting her go on that thing again. Sex just wasn't worth it.

 

This. Although it is the hormone used, my other half only found 1 pill that worked for her, the others turned her into a completely different person.

 

The mini pill has the same effect on my other half. It's unfortunate that she can't take the normal one for medical reasons. I could murder her at times!

I trust it, and have done in the past and personally prefer it that way, but like others have said, it can create mood swings... so its 50/50, and it depends i think on what type of pill as there are a few different kinds that do the same thing, but some give mood swings and some dont. Would like to know the one my ex use to take... couldn't stand her sometimes lol. but thats all in the past now and glad to be rid!

Absolutely trust the pill. Most people don't realise that when somebody accuses the pill of being unreliable, the source they cite is almost always an instance where the pill wasn't taken exactly as prescribed.
