FFS, do you seriously think a petition will make them introduce a co-op mode of play at this late stage of development?# Even at a later date, very little is accomplished for free unless there is no market for it... I'm sure the most you'll get is a community mod. I seriously doubt any of those online petitions have actually achieved anything other than spam on a scale unforseen.
They're not in development anymore, so it's doubtful they'd alter the game that significantly, to elaborate on my earlier post.
Co-op in Doom 3 would be nice, but honestly, why? I doubt co-op was ever used much in Doom or Doom 2. I know of no other games that have a co-op play. What ID needs to do to make those people shut-up, is put "supports co-op play" on the box, because there is bound to be a co-op mode in the on-line play. Wait, lets make sure that petition succeeds. Two days before release, I want ID to re-design, and set the release date back at least another month or two, just so a pathetically small number of people can have co-op play. L J
No, i dont tbh. 99% of internet gamers are 'tards unfortunatly and signing a petition may make you feel better but it wont change what already is.
Me and a mate were looking for a good co-op game this week, we were rather peeved to find that D3 wouldn't have it (except on the Xbox, damn them). So we played Serious Sam 2 instead. SO MUCH FUN. We've nearly finished, LAN co-op is just a brilliant way to play through a single-player game that could otherwise be a little repetitive I'd love to see it implemented in more games.
