I wear glasses pretty much all the time...can get by certain things without them, but its much easier just to wear glasses all the time!
Yup, all the time. My eyes are quite bad (short sighted) though I can still read without them. Can't stand glasses though, have worn contacts for the last 7 years or so (bloody hell, only just realised it was that long)... Looking into eye surgery though, anybody tried it (modern techniques, not the dodgy old ones)?
THe number breakdown- first number-20-what you can see at twenty feet second number-what a person with average normal sight can see at that distance So if your vision is 20/15, you can see at 20 feet what they have to be at 15 to see. And yeah, I wear them part time. I want surgery though. Tired of breaking frames and poking myself in the eye with my frame, and tired of contacts drying out.
im blind as a bat.....although i cant focus on objects at long distances. Shapes and colours is what i like to describe it. Im -6.00 in my left and -6.25 in my right. I also wear contact lenses when im out getting pissed or i fancy a change but mostly wear my glasses as its easier.
my vision is damn near perfect. never had to wear glasses, though i tend to wear beer goggles now and then, they usually result in double vision though strangely enough. I've been thinking about buying a pair with just plain glass lenses, cos i think i could look pretty cool in a nice pair of specs... Accessorise dharlingk!
I said No - but i think i may need to.. more like No - But i know if i got to get eyes checked then i will end up with them.. I want nothing in my eyes thankyou contacts. won't tuch glasses with a 10m pole. and can't affoer lazer correction.. so there.. i'll just squint.
I need glasses all the time, they're good for 'putering, but not so good for sport. I wear contacts some of the time, mainly for when I'm playing hockey, but they're awful for looking at a monitor for more than 20 mins or so. I've needed glasses for everything for about six years ( and I'm only 14 ) but they really don't bother me anymore. Bit odd at first but you soon get used to them.
don't wear them, but given how long I sit in front of a computer all day, I expect I will eventually. (I'll hold back as long as I can though)
Need glasses, hell, I need new eyes. Actually, I'm looking at having to have corneal transplants within the next 5-10 years. I have a degenerative eye disease called keratoconus, where my corneas progressively shape themselves into cones. At this time, I'm able to correct my vision well enough to drive with special made hard contacts, but we'll have to see what the future brings.
never needed them its wierd my optitian said my eyes are the type that ill never need glasses except for when im old probably reading and stuff but i spend all day looking at a monitor
Thanks. The hope of new technologies is something that I try to console myself with. The thought of having to go through transplant surgery with all it's inherant problems (rejection, etc.), not to mention the fact that it is my eyes just hurts to think about.
Miopic here... I wake up, put on my sexy specs and spend all day being sexual then take them off at bedtime. *n
