Does an AGP lock keep my FSB from affecting the AGP card?

    I'm going to change my FSB and my motherboard (Gigabyte 8KNXP) has an option to "lock" the AGP. Will this keep my FSB from affecting my peripherals? I don't want to touch these yet, I just wanna see what my system can do.

    Yes, an agp/pci lock will make sure the agp and pci set at the speed you set them.

    It does however increase the load on the northbridge, check it doesnt get to hot ;)

    :D i unplugged my "big heatsink" on my motherboard. I think i ruined the board though lol. :worried:
