im assuming they are just used for conventions but if anyone has any links that have more pictures of these types of cases could you please share them or better yet a work log or something to anything relating to this?

They just look like custom displays made for shows. I made several for a local ACE hardware store. Just bent and glued acrylic with custom labeling. Pick a style you like and make one. Google "acrylic display case". Maybe refine it with "trade show"

    Custom-build show-cases that are.

I don't think that you'll be able to purchase such a case somewhere, but you can get it either manufactured by someone or build it yourself.

Welcome to the world of modding!
Hint: start slow and practice bending on some cheap acrylic like picture plexi from the large stores like Home Depot or Lowes, or what ever is close to you.

Get a heat gun and play around with the cheap stuff before you get to a big sheet. At our stores an 8" X 10" plastic picture acrylic is about $1.50. Less than a good beer.

Hint 2: Do not try to re-bend acrylics. I have found over the years that it tends to create micro stress cracks that look like tiny spider webs in the bends.

I watch and I am here.
