We also "invented" Windows, the Internet, and quite a bit of the tech used in your computer today. Just because we produced AOL doesn't mean that we're all bad.

AOL has unfortinately become synonimous with stupidity, which in most cases is true, but then there are people like Linear that use AOL because they are the only decent ISP in the area...

Welcome to the forums, bty :thumb: You may find that opening seprate threads per topic in the approprate forum makes the mods happy, and preserves your life/post count. :worried:

    Enjoy your stay!

Have used many different ISP's AOL by far the most reliable for me... can't be arsed messing about with their content, just use a different browser once connected...

I feel sorry for newbies who get crapped on for not knowing what's going on... I'm relativly new to all this too, but been in computers for over 20 years now, rather hope i come accross as a bit more understanding when a newby asks me about PCs...

    Good luck with your project

How many screens are you thinking of adding???

just monitor or tv as well??

and any other information to what ur going to be using it for would be really useful as we can then get a list of components for ya to get......

    Rm :p

i could say the same to you my friend, dont b so appologetic bout using AOL, it was a "friendly dig" as you sed and its only 90% british, thank u very much :D . most newer graphics cards suport several monitors. if you havn't got much cash an ATI Radeon 9200 would b a good choice or you could pick up a PCI card of somthing simular (maybe a mx 440) and then it means it wouldnt hit your frame rate in games because your graphics card is trying to render graphics for 2 screen! if you have the cash buy and new card and use its DVI and s-video outputs for the monitor and tv respectfully. If you do need more than 2 monitors and a tv then another PCI grpahics card is needed which will support upto 2 extra monitors and a TV, depending on the card.

Yo-DUH_87, i wasnt having a go i was trying to make the point that I WASN'T shunning all americans (some serious crossed wires here!)

 i was just thinking maybe 2 monitors but 3 would be ok, I'm building a whole comp from scratch even the wiring, so i just need to know the video cards i need and the wiring, so fump can i just add an aditional vid card to my existing computer and route the monitor to it?

Please learn how to use periods because I really hate it when people go on and on without using periods because it makes it hard to read and it also makes them look stupid speaking of stupid that reminds me of how I hate helping out people who are stupid oh also I hate helping out people that don't know how to punctuate

 I noticed that you didn't use any punctuation, besides "don't", so you should look at your self before you judge others.

i didnt like his attitude and the fact he is a hypocrite. ive got noting against u, nleahcim, but u were not nice. i might of seemed not to nice myself but i see my faults and i try 2 clear things up or appologise when i should do. Does it really matter if people use good grammer? its only a forum, its ment to be friendly and people shouldn't be so criticle.
