    is a xfx radeon 5770 1gb single slot graphics card any good for gaming

    Yeah, its pretty decent for the price. I almost bought one.

    However, don't expect to play Crysis full graphics and HD.

    Used to be good, not so much any more. Will be ok for Call of Duty or Starcraft 2, but it won't handle BF3 too well.

    Worth about £45 second hand, wouldn't pay more than £60 or so new.

    It was only a mid-low range card when it came out, and it is getting old. Everything depends on the price you get it for (as others mentioned) and what you want to do with it however. I wouldn't use it on any screen resolutions higher than 1680x1080 these days.
