Other Does anyone want to come round and cable tidy my case?

    I have had a go trying to tidy up. It looks better than before! Im game for a little bit of fun!!

    I will post pics of how it looked and then how it looks now. The the fun begins...Or much anger!

    If your paint/photoshop is upto it, maybe overlay a grid so our responces are more directed :)

    Have you got a large top exhaust fan in that case?

    Just thinking for airflow, you might want to rotate your cpu cooler 90 degrees clockwise since you have two rear exhaust fans.

    Yeah I have got a large top exhaust fan. I did have it pointed to the rear fans but I changed it for a reason which I can't remember. (Im sure it was getting in the way of something)

    I've got the same case and pretty much the same kit, and i had no trouble keeping the cables well hidden!

    One thing i did notice is that you have IDE cables, im pretty sure all my HDDs and DVD drives are sata, which is alot easier to cable and hide! You can mod IDE cables or buy rounded ones.

    It definitely looks better after your tidy up! Good luck with the on-going work!

    I noticed the ide cable's when I was tidying up. I think I will replace the dvd burner for a newer one with sata. The other ide cable is going from my sound card to the front box that you get with the old X-fi Platinums. That is a slighlty different problem, it has it's own size ide cable and will be difficult to replace with a rounded one.

    I figured out why I had my cpu fan mounted facing the top mounted fan. It's because I have a side fan that is on the cover and the cpu fan wont fit facing the rear exhaust fans.
