Small Form Factor Does the Zalman Reserator fit on shuttle mounting holes?

    no it won't. The reserator relies on the mounting cage or standard sized AMD mounting holes.

    I bought it to use in a SN45G. I did actually find that by using the standoffs provided (designed for mounting with A64) in the diagonal holes and stretching the bar a bit you can actually mount it sufficiently.

    It does actually work suffiently. I have actually asked Zalman if they will release an alternative mounting method, but they said that they won't.

    Grr. How annoying.

    Looks like I'll have to machine some custom brackets then...

    Just use a couple standoffs or insulated screws or something to that extent and use a spare PCI slot cover to make a ghetto bracket. Should work, at least until you can machine out a nicer one.

    yeah, that would work fine. Alternatively, you can just get a different waterblock to use with the reserator.

    Tempted to just buy an Xice CPU block... looks like it'll be the easiest way.

    You interested in buying a Reserator then? I am selling mine as I need an internal setup now.
