I have been trying to source somewhere to pick up an Nokia N92, and found this site. Does it look dodgy to anyone else? They only accept payment through money order? Has anyone got any info? http://www.gsm-onlineshop.com/phones/nokia/n92.html Also if anyone knows somewhere I can find one it would be appreciated!
Think I am just gonna have to wait then. Ah well. I am also liking the N80. Can't decide between the two.
They also take credit card. They are located in Barcelona, Spain. I'd think they are probably on the level, but given that you know nothing about them, I wouldn't risk it.
They don't sell any lower-end phones or any accessories - fraud site. Especially with the nopaypal link, no professional outfit would put that on their site.
Looks fairly reasonable to me. You can pay by Visa, so if it's a scam you can get your money back from them under their fraud-protection policies AFAIK. If worse comes to worst you can always go and find them if you can verify their address somehow. You've got a phone number as well. Phone them, talk to them, record it. Proof, address, protection.
Googling "gsm-onlineshop scam" finds a post in the German eBay forums, where the site is listed as a fake shop.
I think i can go have a look on the adress they give. This just sounds sooooo good, i prob could even go in with the cash and get the phone, if it works out to be an actual company. Just let me know...
Dodgy. Very Dodgy. Prices alone should give that away. 250€ for k750i, 250€ for that Nokia aswell. It's got scam written all over. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. L
http://www.gsm-onlineshop.com/payment.html WTF? The sites look veeeery similar if you look close http://www.mobile-onlineshop.com/payment.html And these a totaly th same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.mobile-onlineshop.com/payment.html (all of them are hostet somwhere near Phoenix and Scottsdale) Dont do it man...keep your ca$h this is 100% fraud... A lot of people in that german forum lost a lot of mony to thos Spanish guys! And that shop
Just send them this email through their site; See if they'll answer this. doesn't change a lot about visiting the place; prob go there tommorrow or the day after... I'm just curious how nervious this makes them.
Same names, different addresses. All in Barcelona... The more info becomes available (and cheers for Googling, Der Me!$ter; should be everyone's first port of enquiry), the more it looks like some shady scam company. Avoid.
