Well, thought I might ask. I am on a limited budget of about $1400...but I went across newegg and picked out these components for a watercooled Shuttle XPC Socket 754 PC....

    Shuttle SK83G http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProdu...-101-453&depa=1
    AMD Athlon 64 3000 OEM

Mushkin 1GB PC-3200 Ram (Anything lifetime warranty is ok to me)

    WD 74GB Raptor HD

    XFX GeForce 6600GT AGP Version
    http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...-150-080&DEPA=1
    Sony Internal 16X DVD+R / Double Layer/DVD+RW Drive

Thermaltake Bigwater Liquid Cooler (it had good enough reviews)

Crystalfontz Front LCD (Fits in Floppy Drive Bay, nice blue color)

....How do you folks think this setup is? I know it will run Halflife 2 and all the new games...I just want to know how loud you think it will be, temps it might run at with the watercooler, etc.

That's a nice setup there, just wondered why you wanted the watercooler in the first place. The standard ICE will keep the processor perfectly cool :) .

Just got a 45g myself and I'd like to watercool it later if the pump is nice and quiet.

Watercool just in case I decide to overclock, for aesthetics, and I've always wanted to make a watercooled system
