    last stuff for tonight...

mounted the power plugs for the vid card and leds..

you can see where i have also cut places for the ATX power and a few others.

here is the psu polished up and the front connectors sleeved.

i was playing around with an orange fan and added 4 white superbright LEDs... well the outcome was awesome once again. so i might be changing a few things up with the lighting... i have to order some new LEDs now though! haha

here it is mounted on the rear as i planned it to be... looks great. the mesh gives it just enough cover and lets enough light through.

    rock on till next time!
i am also waiting for some plexi too, to finish this project. youll see what i have planned!

I sure do :D How are you planning to mount that plexi to the floor? I'm thinking of doing something similar, thanks for the inspiration :) Infact, our cases are very similar, see my sig ;)

i plan on using the same hex bolts that i will use as standoffs for the plexi bottom. two nuts (hehe) will hold the mesh and hex bolt up and then the rest of the bolt will act as legs to hold that plexi from the bottom of the case.

i will post pics soon to illustrate that.

thanks for the comments... i take all the comments and that feeds the mod! from your feedback i take it where the mod can go! thanks all!

Oh man, this is quite the sick mod. :thumb: I must say, that orange on red looks wicked nice. Never would have thought of that, but it's nasty nonetheless. Reminds me of a Monster Garage episode... anyways, if I could make a suggestion, for the PSU, consider instead switching over to an Ultra X-Connect. I have one and it's the slickest thing you'll ever see. The mirror finish they have on it is phenomenal, and you can get 'em on TigerDirect for $40 for a 400 watt and $70 for a 500 watt, with mail in rebates. Linkies, for anyone who cares:
    500 watt
    400 watt

it looks great!! but don't get an ultra-x psu, get a better psu from a good company. go for function over looks, trust me theres a thread on hardforums talking about one of those ultra-x psu's frying his dfi-sli board. Anyways i just thought i would let you know

Well, it's unfortunate his board fried, but I've heard lots of good stuff about the PSU, especially the fact that they don't peak at 400 or 500 watts, they continuously run at it. A couple of reviews said they perform marginally better than their Antecs under high load.
