It's bad enough on PC releases; at least those are easily patchable. Ever since Xbox Live, devs have seen that they no longer have to release stable console games either because those can be patched as well. "Oh well, why bother then?" ... Because not all of us have XBL.
how could you not notice the flashing though bums? xD that's the first thing I saw and was like wth- and I know you got it cause it's a driver issue try the dll too.. it even works for ati guys from what I've read.. been playing over the weekend without all the flashing or spinning heads
Wasn't that bad TBH using the new drivers now, Strange though since the new drivers when entering one local it kept freezing so I entered from diferent way and it was fine LOL. But apart from that it seems ok I'll play some more tonight and see.
I have just installed the game and so far have had no noticeable bugs after 30 mins or so, not sure if there's been an automatic patch or it could be a driver thing.
aye.. that's enough to keep me on what I got till the game is done- probably won't be finished for weeks- lot of content.. I keep going to do the main story and get sidetracked in some ally for side jobs the sex robot is hillarious.. his name was fisto.. you know the new vegas crew have a sick sense of humor when one of the options is to test it out yourself

Having fun on Hardcore mode + very hard I've been wondering around and encountered a Nightkin with an incinerator - not nice. The b*****d was cloaked!
That's a bit of an attitude - hippoz was only trying to help and the first part of the post was relevant. The rest was just general chat.
I've had it since the day before launch, played roughly seven hours so far - I had other things to do - And the only issues I've had have been the sections where you're asked nicely to hand over all your weapons. Perhaps it's my weapon hoarding, or perhaps it's a bug with the "<Keep holdout Weapons> Sure, I'll disarm.." dialogue option. It usually crashes to desktop at those stages for me, and once when I didn't select a dialogue option it just hung. For reference, I'm running a retail version, patched, on the hardware in my sig - I only really have any slow down at Nellis AFB, which was only a brief trip anyway. My favourite weapon is the "Maria" pistol. I shan't mention where you get it, though, for the sake of people not there yet. For bigger targets, a shotgun or multi-plas plasma rifle.
for anyone who is getting crashes,rightclick the falloutnv.exe folder go to compatibility and check the disable desktop compasition . this worked for me using a 5850@900/1200 i had to downclock before for some reason windows aero dosnt like running while i play this game . hopes this helps someone peace.
Wow judging by this thread, I must be one of the very few people who arent having issues with this game!
I'm not having any issues either. Also on the topic of weapons I enjoy the Anti-Material Rifle (nice sniper rifle basically).
