Does anyone know how or where I can get a double sided pcb built?
Try http://www.expresspcb.com/ . They can make almost anything you want. The thing is though, you have to design it using thier software. After you design it you submit it to them via email and pay. Some time later you will receive your board(s) in the mail...
Not found anyone cheaper (nor even close in price). Boards are of satisfactory quality, and total turn-around time is about 2 weeks.
They take credit-cards but not online (you have to fax the details over).
They take Eagle files directly as well as industry-standard gerber files, and BMP/TIFF/JPEG files.
Close-up view of a board they made for one of my projects. As you can see they come with silk screen, 2 sided solder masks and plated holes as standard.
I think I got 10 of these boards for about £18 to my door.
Made me the boards for my max1668 adventure, real good stuff. Price goes down a lot as the quantity goes up - always ask for a quote. if you can live without soldermask and silkscreen they're darn cheap!
