Anyone else go? What a fantastic weekend is all I can say! Saw loads of bands including korn, guns n roses, bullet for my valentine, prodigy, coheed & cambria, lacuna coil, in flames, billy talent, henry rollins etc etc Prodigy were my definite faves, the whole of the snickers stage tent was just buzzing spot on! Hopefully the few small riots on Sunday night won't ruin it for next year! Emz xx
i was sick when i tried to go for a wee every time i went god damn stench of the toilets was at a new high this year thanks to the oversize not often emptied tank of faeces other than that god damn superb Metallica Rocked like never before
Yep I went. What a waste of money! Guns'n'Roses were pure rubbish. The prodigy should have been mainstage. Bullet for my knobingtine should have been on the bloody myspace stage where they belong. Dragonforce should have been second to headlining. And for £135, they didn't exactly look after us very well. Wouldn't go again. Too many greebs. But metallica were AWESOME.
The people I know that went spent most of their time on their laptops messaging us lot that didn't go as far as I can work out! Did you see LuciFire then Emz? She rocks, so pleased she's back at Reading this year too
You're probably right...some of the people there were just outright wierd though. I couldn't help wondering what their parents thought of them!
i was quite impressed that people had managed to bend every single lamp post thingy all the way to the ground in the green camp might've been blue, the one closest to the village anyway oh and metallica were ****ing awesome
It was blue, I was in there when it happened, hehe. It was brilliant I dunno what some of you are whinging about!
haha awesome, how did they manage it? i was in purple, we arrived on thursday and everywhere else was full already, so we queued til they opened purple every fence in purple got pulled down onto the paths, i think they were trying to stop the fire buggies putting out everyones bonfires
I was at download! it rocked! we were the guys walking around with a cooler of beer shouting "beer for boobs" we were hammered. I normally don't condone that kind of thing....but it was fun at the time. our cooler was empty by the end of it. We ended up in a car crash on the way home though my backs injured, neck, right knee and stomach. Just becuase some twit wanted to use their mobile phone at 70mph. fools. otherwise chipper weekend..soon as i stop hurting! also possibly spotted the em to the zay a couple of times...since she goes to the same uni and all...plus she's not hard to miss.
hehe yeah. i'd be disturbed if you walked around uni in your tiny black getup. That or i'd turn up to uni more... Download has to be my favourite festival. Morso when my friends tent got stolen on the first night!
