    Hi,

    Questions.

I have busting my nads over which version to buy. My PC was half decent back in the day and can still run most stuff okay. Specs are as follows.

    Intel E4300 @ 2.8Ghz
    2GB RAM
    8800 GTS 320MB
    etc

Will Dragon Age run and look better on my PC than my PS3? I game on a 24" Dell @ 1920x1200 and would like a half decent framerate at reasonable settings.

    Cheers for any input.

    Eddie

Should be fine on your PC, it was never a crysis/mafia 2 system killar.

It will run just fine, it might not look better but it will certainly play better.

Yeah think I'll risk the PC version then.

It'll be rubbish on both anyway! I hope not... but I think it will.

Christ I hope not, then again I can pick it up for less then £15 so it will be a calculated risk!

    Definitely get it on pc!

On ps3 you cant zoom out! When you've got a large fight going on you need to be able to zoom out!!

For a week or so, I ran the game on a single core 1.6 Celeron. Little juddery, but it's not the sort of game you need silky smooth frame rates.

    It'll play fine.

First off, let me say that I LOVE Dragon Age! Can't wait for part II to come out next year.

Regarding your dilemma, definitely go for the PC version mate.

Your PC should run it fine and the controls will be a whole lot better.

The game was designed primarily as a PC game and then converted to run on the consoles. Unsurprisingly it actually plays better on PC, so get it on there if you can.

yeah the PC version definatly plays better. Plus you have the option of modding it then. I would imagine it will probably look about the same on both. Certainly it won't look dramatically worse on the PC version.

It is nice to see a game that is better on the pc for a change (for reasons other than aiming with a mouse is nicer)
