dude, ever heard of sandpaper? ;) really, though, you need to sand all those cuts you made. Other than that it looks good.

Ok, I'm going to be a dick and say that you REALLY REALLY REALLY need to file/sand ALL of those cuts.

Other than that, looks pretty slick! :thumb:

    Sorry, another dick here..

If you squint, or ignore the jagged edges, it looks really nice. I like the aluminium center, the layout and general look of it.. but the cuts is a different story. They're actually quite horrible, and you should really really do something about them.

A tip, if you have a drill, try getting a hole-saw for making the round cuts. They come out perfect everytime, and need just a little sanding. :dremel:

To the person who said it looks like shlt: That's not cool dude, it just needs the cuts cleaned up.

Yea but there is quite a big problem .. those squares are cut for FDD and CD-Rom . If i sand them the square will become bigger and the cd-rom will look ugly . Any ideas for making a "frame" or something?

    Simple solution:

Just get a piece of 3mm plywood or MDF and cut it so that it is 2 or 3 cm bigger on all sides than the cuts you made already. Then cut Proper sized drive bay openings and stick it to the front of the case. That way you get a nice 3D effect of a double layer. As for the fan holes: get a piece of PVC tubing (drain pipe) and cut a bit the same thickness as the case (looks to be 1" thick). Place it in the fan holes and use filler to fill any gaps ET VOILA - perfect circles

Look at my case, project divergence and you can see what a hole saw can do. Plexi glass is about the same as wood to cut except wood does not melt and plexi does...

Sorry man, but in my really honest opinion it sounds too ghetto!!!! Rough cuts, different screws on the front..... Well, surely it's miles away from my thinking of a PC case, anyway it's your case, so you must like it!!

I actually think its got potential. All it needs is a little cleaning up. A few suggestions ?

If you replaced those countersunk screws on the aluminium strips with the hex headed ones you have, it'd give it a bit more of a uniform look. [edit sorry started a thought and forgot to finish it :D]

Try and polish up that aluminium a bit. Maybe go over it with some wet/dry sand paper (only rub one way) and it might give it a shine and an almost brushed look. I reckon that'd look sweet.

Do you have access to a plane or rasp file ? I think the edges of the box might look good if they were rounded a bit..

The fan holes dont look so bad once the grills are on. You could clean them up a bit if you wanted but they dont look terrible. I think the right front side of the case kinda sticks out because there is nothing interesting to look at there. Have you considered maybe installed another window or lighting feature there ?

As I said, its got potential :D

    Yep.

The holes are too rough I think, you should do mask to them, aluminium? And polish the aluminium.
Do perfect circles and change frontpanel screws.

It will be good I think if you do something for those mistakes or something.
