    Be nice for the etailers to pass that saving on, then - because it sure as hell doesn't look like kit prices have fallen 30% this quarter alone...

    The DRAM components aren't the only thing that goes into a DIMM, though - and spot pricing on components was going up last year while retail prices were going down. In the last 12 months 2,400MHz DDR4 has come down to nearly half its peak price - better 'n 30 percent!

    The way RAM capacities in phones are going we should pester mobo manufacturers to just give us phone slots instead of RAM slots:p
