Linux Drivers for dell

    So i have decided to install abuantu mobile on my dell laptop due to it being very low powered.Will i run into problem for downloading drivers for the graphics and wireless cards?

    You might find the graphics drivers are not available , in which case you'll be stuck with max resolution of 800x600 . Support for wireless drivers is very good.

    It should be fine, I've put Linux Mint (based on Ubuntu) on a couple of Dell laptops and everything worked fine, even the nVidia discrete graphics!

    Everything was fine except for the wi-fi but i think that is broke and not drivers

    GPU drivers are pretty good on Ubuntu these days. They're usually 6 months behind on the cutting edge cards, but older ones are invariably supported out of the box. It'll put an icon up in the top right corner if there is a binary driver available, but unless your gaming, the included driver should be fine.

    i have to buy a wireless card for the laptop since the current one is broke,will there be drivers for this?

    Theres good support for all the major brands, both internal and external.
