    Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay has been banned for six months after being clocked driving at more than 100mph.

    "I would point out I was driving a 4x4 and not a fast sports car," he said.

    aparently he was stuck doing 30mph for miles so he had to take full advantage of the overtaking opertunity.

    That's a shame, although he did break the law, and there's no leniancy for anyone else, Advanced drivers should perhaps be given a bit of leway? I'm not sure about this really...

    i thought it was an automatic ban of 1 year if over 100?!?! or am i wrong?
