Twin Sails Bridge, Backwater Channel / Holes Bay Poole. RNLI on the right. Looking at West Quay Road and Poole, framed by both bridges. Port on the right with Sunseeker shipyards. Brownsea Island on the right behind, and Sandbanks / harbour entrance in the far distance. Better view of the old bridge and Sunseeker shipyards. Angular white roof behind the bridge is the Poole floating lifeboat dock for the larger RIB and smaller inflatable that cover the harbour. Fully covered flood plain outside Christchurch. Bypass on the left, railway embankment to the right. I've not seen it that full for some years. I'll revisit it later on sans water. Mudeford Spit at the end of Hengistbury Head, Mudeford in the distance. HH is off limits as it's a nature reserve, but the spit is OK You can see the lovely row of expensive beach huts running away to the end. They sell for up to £250K! No electricity, no plumbing, but you can sleep overnight in them.
Good spot guys, I now realise I didn't caption them... I did on Greyarrows. Now updated with words. Poole yes, Sandbanks no.... Maybe I could do Sandbanks Peninsula one morning, that'd be nice. Or maybe sunset with the sun going down over Brownsea.
