    Hi Guys,

I am trying to get referrals to dropbox to increase my storage capacity. Now, I don't want to ask people on here in-case it's against T&Cs.

Is there any good way of doing this or have any of you done this before?

I did mine through Google Adwords. No idea if that was against Dropbox's T&C, nothing bad happened! :)

Did you maximize the storage referrals from doing that then?

Don't think its against the rules as there's already been a thread about it. Don't use dropbox personally, as I have 25gb on skydrive.

Yeah I did, set me back about £15. Although Google later gave me a £100 voucher so that turned things around fortunately, been spending it on getting GiffGaff referrals!

I found a way where if you use Linux Ubuntu, you can self refer. You make up any email address you want and it qualifies. You have to create a new virtual machine for every referral though. Seems like a long roundabout way of doing it though. But hey it 100% works.

I can get you like 48gbs though logging into your dropbox account using my phones promotion but that would involve changing your password to something like 12345678 to let me login using my android phone, then you change it back but have the extra space :)

Or you could get a friend/your own device however the 48gb only last 2 years and some carriers don't support it.

Currently have "You can now store up to 53.38 GB of stuff in your Dropbox"
