Why do you have a startbar on both screens? Waste of space IMO...

I love dual head myself... so much more space :)= can be a cit costy though.. :sigh:

The best thing is to make custom wallpapers... gets more personal then :)

BTW: i tested ultramon a while back.. i couldn't really the the point... only good thing i could find was the buttons that could move the windows from one monitor to another...

ultramon has been around a while, before nVidea got thier act together with nView.

ultramon gives you is a "smart taskbar" which only shows applications that are on that screen. Along with that the abiltiy to control what screensavers go on what screen, where popups are placed, saving of icon locations on the desktop and a couple of other natty little tweaks.

theres not a whole lot of point for multipl monitors, the whacking great bezel in the middle gets annoying.

Flight Sim 2004 is multi monitor compliant, thats bout the only real use I can think of.

well if u can only get ur hands on small monitors adding one helps with clutter
my desktops always end up gettin to crowded for my likings but i guess thats what it comes down to. its just a personal taste

    oh and its pimp :naughty:

    are you kidding me?
have you even used a dual monitor setup for a decent amount of time
theres no way in hell i would go back to single monitors for my main machine

I have see a set up where some one has taken a dozen screens and laid them out to create a life size cockpit. Also, 3 monitors are easier to play games on as the crosshair isn't split in two.

Got to agree duel monitors are good. But I now use tri monitor setup 2 17" and a 21", with Ultramon. Great prog, especially the ability to choose which screen to place an item on and the smart task bar. Screens dont look so cluttered now. Would deffinetly recommend duel monitor setups to any one who askes.

I agree as well, even though I only use winamp and that little progy that checks uptime, and what not on the little 15" screen. I like running it at 1280x1024. i can't really seem to be happy at anything lower than 1280x1024... I juts need a bigger screen. I would love to have some LCDs though :naughty: but money being a major drawback, I can not afford it.
(hides from friends comments of disagreement) <- (I have bought about 6000 dollars worth of stuff so far, and still another 1k to go(worth that if I bought it now) :D)
