I recently set up a dual monitor system for my computer, and i'm not sure how to tell full screen apps to launch on the second monitor. Anybody know how?

Might be a bit more helpful if you stated which chipset your graphics card has (nividia or ati or matrox etc) and which set of drivers you were using. Since both catlayst and dets have the option somewhere I think. Or you could just google for ultramon, a fantastic program that is an absolute must for dual monitor systems.

Whops, good point. Ive got a radeon 9600 Pro. Hvent upgraded the drivers recenty though. i think i will now though.

I always thought you conld controll this by creating a shortcut to the app and editing some parameter in the shortcut.

Grab ultramon (.com). It will cost you a few bucks, but will be well worth it. You can use it to tell applications which monitor to open on. Even what window position to open in as well.

It's got loads of other feature as well, making it the best multiple monitor program I've used. There is a demo on the site which you can trial first. :)

Hmmm. Nice, but it seems to disagree with Aston (www.astonshell.com)

isnt there some way to do this by editing the shortcut properties?
