I currently have an XSPC RX360 rad mounted to the top of my case which is cooling my graphics cards. However, my reservoir will accomodate two pumps so I would like to cool my board and cpu with an additional rad. The question is "where to put it?"

I have seen some people put a 240mm rad in the bottom of the case by removing the drive bay cages and cutting out the bottom of the case. However, I would like to keep modding down to a minimum.

I was really just after some suggestions as to what my options were and if the are any alternatives. Please note that I do not wish to have any cooling mounted outside of the case.

    Thanks

Not much luck there mate. If you want another big rad it's practically mandatory to cut into case. I should know, I've spent quite a few hours trying and sticking different sized rads into my case.

It's possible to put 240 mm rad on the bottom compartment in a way you only need to make an opening for one fan, i.e using a circular hole saw. Other fan would sit on the filtered psu intake. That would keep cutting the case in minimum, and you should be able to left other side of the hdd rack in place to retain some case rigidity.

It's also possible to mount 240 on its side in the bottom compartment. That may or may not create some airflow issues, depending whether you cut intakes/exhausts into side panels.

Also, you can put 120/140 mm rad on the rear fan exhaust slot.

I'd say if you really want another rad in an 800D, you'll be needing to cut out those cages down the bottom and squeeze a 240 in, other than an external rad, which you don't want maybe a new case, Xigmatek Elysium? ;D

I was thinking the same thing, tripple in the top, upto a quad in the front and a dual on the bottom (you'll have to mod a way to mount HDD's with a quad in the front though)

    I love mine :)
