Scratch Build – In Progress Dual Screen problem

Hello everyone, i am new to online forums so help is always accepted. i have a question for anyone who can help. i have a dual screen system running off one gpu. i wanted to be able to play a game whilst having firefox open on th other. when i start cod4 or any game the second screen's resolution gets messed up. i can keep them open on seperate screens. has anyone had this problem or know how i can fix it? any help will be greatful. thx everyone

I find some games just do this.

what are the resolutions/specs of the screens? Im using a laptop with 1680x1050 and my 2nd is 1024x768 and WMP11 and Firefox stay on the 2nd monitor. Are you using any 3rd party software for the monitor (IE, UltraMon)? When running games without UltraMon, it does what your describing on my computer.

 

The way to fix this is to:

- Cut the end of each screen, one on the left, one on the right
- Fuse the two screens together
- Then post up project logs of it

Because you are posting in this forum, I guess you planning a scratch built monitor? good idea.

 

Make sure the game is running in proper resolution for that monitor, or make it in windowed mode.
