Hi there

I might be going dubai when u have ur bit meet up and i was wondering if theres anything worth buying over there?.
like hardware and stuff just a lil shout out.

Also is it a nice place?

i went to bahrain over christmas, which is similiar to dubai. Gold is pretty cheap over there, but electrical stuff isn't that much of a bargin. Its cheaper, but when u think about the hassle of bring certain things back, it doesn't seem so cheap.

Could be different in dubai tho, but i dont think so.

Saying that, i didn't look at pc hardware, just ipods / digicams / mini disks etc


edit : i've heard from a mate who went over crimbo, that its really nice!

I was also wondering what the shopping was like over there too...Can you get things like cheap DVD films and electronic stuff??

My main thing is, i want a digital camera, do i wait till i get over there or buy one before i go???

 

Dont know if you like handmade suits, but I hear that it is pretty cheap to get them made there

 

Getting suits / clothes hand made to measure is really cheap over there. As for digital camera, im not sure. Might be worth waiting i suppose, even if you end up getting it from the duty free shop.

 

so what do you reckon about ipod prices?
