ok, HDD space is beginging to be an issue with my rapidly increasing anime collection, and rather than get another HDD or two, like i did last time, I'm thinking about investing on a DVD burner so i can watch anime on the big TV downstairs as well as free up some HDD space So, anyways, which DVD burner is the best for my purpose and is at a good price?
I've got the Pioneer DVD-R. Works decent enough. If I were to buy a new one, I'd get the Sony DRU500a. It writes to both formats. Runs about 320$US. Also, buy media surplus. The local office place wants 50 bucks a disk. I get them for about a dollar and a half.
yeah, thats the drive i was thinking about, except the place i get most my hardware wants me to call up and order it rather than just order online and im too lazy
well, i have found that laziness is inversely proportional to the level of funds in my bank account the more money i have the less lazy i am but seeing as im really lazy right now (for another couple of weeks as well i expect) .... ::edit:: hmm, dont ask me what i was thinking with this spelling.... "properotional"
Sony DRU-500A all the way! /me hugs his Sony dvd writer Over 75 data/film backups done so far - and rising hehe
