Have you tried music magpie? Or you can also try Cex but you will have to take them I store where as music magpie you can send them freepost
I wouldn't recommend Music Magpie, they only pay 50p per film for most titles, they quibble over the quality of the discs and take an age to pay. As long as you want to charge the same price for each DVD, you could use a multi-variation listing on eBay (or if you want several prices, several multi-variation listings at different price points) - more info on eBay's site
I guess i could try the ebay thing, i will check out music magpie, does anyone know if blockbuster offer good prices? Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 2
AV forums. I've bought about 1,000 DVDs over the last 5 years, generally AVforums rule of thumb is £10 for 5 DVDs (£2each), then just take a pic of all the spines and list. They'll be gone in a couple of days.
How much value do you place on your time? and how quickly do you want rid of them. If you’re willing to class your work time as £0 then go the ebay or forum route remembering to factor in postage and packing costs and the inevitable hassle of dealing with the shopping public but you'll get a higher price per item. If you want to spend the least possible time go the music magpie or zapper.co.uk route. music magpie have a nice little iphone scanning app to make entering the dvds easy. Stick them all in one box free postage and have done with it. I've used both music magpie and zapper recently as we had a large clearout of our media shelves so 300-400 mix of games dvds and cds and wanted rid of them quickly and with least amount of fuss. Music magpie gave better prices on most dvd's, with xbox games being a pretty even split between the 2. Zapper tends to take older games from older systems. zapper was quicker in sending out the cheque with it being in my hand less than two weeks after sending the box off. Music magpie has taken 3 weeks to get the cheque. Neither place rejected any of our dvds or games, guess we keep them ok condition.
