So, I enjoy watching DVDs on my macbook pro, but some will not play. For example Planet Terror pays fine, but Lawrence of Arabia will not. Both DVDs will then play on a windows computer, but will still not play on my computer. For the record I run a Macbook pro, 15" 2.2 GHz, Mac OS X 10.4.11

Why will they not play? I know its not the disc, as it plays on other computers, and DVD players, and I know its not my hardware, because it plays other DVDs just fine...:wallbash::confused:

More of a tech support thing but I'll have a go anyhow.

Are both DVDs region 1 (find this at the bottom of the back of the case)
Do both play in a standalone player.
Is there some kind of weird DRM kinda thing of LoA?
Why on earth would you buy planet terror?
