The DVLA at Swansea is sending out warning letters to drivers as follows : "In order to assist other motorists in identifying potentially dangerous drivers, it's now compulsory for anyone with a lower than average driving ability to display a warning flag. The flag (comprising of a red cross on a white background) will be attached to the top of at least one door of their vehicle. For drivers of exceptionally low ability, additional flags are required."
might have been vaguely funny if id actually seen any cars with flags on em recently but for some reason i havent seen any in scotchland,
Here you go: Due to the increase in road traffic accidents the DVLA (Driver Vehicle Licensing Association) have announced a revolutionary new scheme aimed at reducing this alarming statistic. From now on any driver deemed as being a bit stupid and likely to do something spontaneously silly whilst in a car, will be issued with a warning flag. This flag will be white with a red cross and will be flown in a prominent position from the owners car. Although these drivers are quite dangerous the ones to *really* watch out for are those flying 2, 3 or even 4 warning flags. These people have a very limited driving ability and should definitely be given a very wide berth. An AA spokesman has said that those deemed safe, intelligent drivers have immediately welcomed this initiative.
Have spotted a prime candidate living down the road from me! 4 flags on the car plus the whole of the front of the house decorated
I've got an England flag flying from my car window... and I'm a safe driver. Do I really care what other people think of it? No. Having 1 flag on your car doesn't make you a moron (2 or more does though ). All 4 of our cars have flags on, and we have a large flag flying from a pole in our front garden. I know this is supposed to be a joke, but it's not funny. Why is the showing of patriotism and support of your country's football team by flying your country's flag deemed moronic (or racist)?
Edit: Ignore me - just had negative experiences with some flag wavers over the past few days. Quack - No offence intended mate
Heh... I'm chilled. No worries people! Just had a bad day with a virus attack at work. 12 different viruses on one laptop... brought into work and connected to our wireless network. Made life interesting.
