Does anyone have any idea of when (Approximately) DX10 cards will begin to be released - and will the first generation of these cards support HDCP content protection immediately or will we need to upgarde again at a letr date, possibly when Vista has been released?

I'm planning to buy another card and so amwondering wether I should buy one now and then buy another one in a year or so until DX10, HDCP content protected cards are readily available, or wait of buying one for a few mon ths until these DX10, HDCP content protected cards are released later this year?

    Thanks.

What's wrong with a 6800? I would recommend buying a dual core processor now, if you have money you want to spend, but it looks like you have a Socket 754 motherboard, right? To be honest, buying another DX9 card when you have a 6800 is a bit pointless, seeing as we'll probably see DX10 before the year's out.

It's not a 754 Motherboard, it's a 939 and I am planning to buy a Dual Core processor soon - probably before the Graphics card - AMD are planning to come out with anew core round abot summer time (The AM2); i'm hoping that current AMDx2 CPU's will come down in price when that happens.

I only ask the question as the release of the ATI1900 range has brought down the proce of the ATI 1800XT quiet steeply, and I was thinking of snapping one up before their all gone. A bit of an opportunity for a top class GPU at mid class prices. :)
