The telegraph has an article along with the missing bottom and top sections, for anyone interested.

Not really all the specifics will be being done by the Civil service. The rest will just be overarching planning. They'll probably be waiting for the technocrats while they're twiddling their thumbs most days.

Interesting. So it was the VVD. I thought so but it seemed out of place.

Still, Jezus titty Christ. Five months and they've got nowhere.

No, that's the PVV. The VVD are the Dutch equivalent of Thatcherite Tories.

So are these VVD people trying to get lessons on how to leave the EU?

Considering we haven't even figured out the process of triggering article 50 yet that would be like taking fishing lessons from a toddler.

Quite the contrary --they are pro-EU like indeed most British Tory MPs are. But the Netherlands does a lot of business with the UK so it too will want as soft a Brexit as possible.

What the press, in its typical UK-centric perspective is missing, is that possibly there has been some behind-the-scenes coaching of the UK in how to approach negotiations with the EU (by the Netherlands and I suspect also Poland). Let's hope they listen.

PVV: Partij Voor de Vrijheid (Party For Freedom)

VVD: Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie (People's Party for Freedom and Democracy)

Not only lacking in imagination; also false advertising.

So they've gone all 'People's front of Judea' with regards to political party names in the Netherlands then?

Always have. Like I said: lack of imagination.

PvdA: Partij van de Arbeid (Party of Labour. No prices for guessing their British equivalent)

CDA: Christen-Democratisch Appèl (Christian-Democratic Appeal: a bit Lib-Dem, a bit old skool Tory)

This is getting to be even more of a farse - apparently now - if the case about referring to parliament goes in favour of the government - then it will be taken to the ECJ - which likely wont even look at it for another 6 >8 months!

That's why Mrs May would have been better off just accepting the high courts judgment, it's highly unlikely parliament would not vote in favor of triggering article 50 as it would lead to an even bigger mess, i found this blog post rather enlightening despite it being penned by someone on the other side of the fence to me, it's about the reasons parliament would be ill advised not follow through on the will of the people.
