More like I'm calling for a second vote because the staffies broke electoral rules, have been fined £190k so far, and are under criminal investigation...#willofthepeoplemyarse.

The public voted for something that they do not understand, had unrealistic aspirations and is going to cause significant harm. Wise? Nope. The right choice? Nope. Ergo: the public was stupid and did get the answer wrong.

They could vote Corbyn in at the next election too. All the above would apply.

The greatest argument against democracy is a 5-minute conversation with the electorate.

I'm surprised they didn't blame the hot/and or cold summer and the world cup too.

Whataboutery. The point is that Leavers feel insulted at the suggestion that they were stupid and gave the wrong answer, but both are evidently true.

Just because it's the best available doesn't make it infallible.

No, it wasn't. Perhaps I should have wrapped my answer in a disclaimer to indicate use of humour.

The reference to the weather was a link to the standing joke of bad retail results always coming with an excuse that it was too cold, hot or the wrong kind of sun to explain why that quarter was down (again).

I agree, but in this instance, by any objective standard it doesn't make sense. Brexit is in no way whatsoever going to deliver what the public voted Leave for, but very likely is going to achieve the opposite.

UKIP just loves sovereignty. They just don't know what that means.
