And so the fate of the country now rests in the hand of the ERG and DUP once more.
Will they cave and pass MV4?
Or will they vote it down again?

This déjà vu is starting to get moldy tbh

Maybot et al. insists we still want/intend to brexit, yet we do not brexit.

...is what i predict will happen on Nov 1st.

Handily it's less than 2 months away from when the Conservatives can make another attempt at ousting May.

At this rate I'll be able to apply for German citizenship before I have to apply for a Visa.

..Not that I'm complaining about that mind.

Interestingly many of the papers that have often had shouty headlines re Brexit don't even have it on their front page.

Probably a lapse of judgement or too late for print I'd expect.

    I doubt it means anything.

So they go on Easter holiday soon. I expect the MPs will also take their summer holidays while all this drags its sorry behind along until October.

I mean, we can't expect them to work late on this shitpile they can't agree on. Besides, they might have to apply for a Visa to visit the south of France next year. We can't expect them to pass up the last easy-EU holiday they could have!

Hence why the good lady is waiting till the waters settle before doing anything.

Government: "Give us all your data, if you have nothing to hide there's no reason not to"
Us: "What will you do with it?"
Government: "Oh you know, just kinda leave it laying around for anybody to look at"

It's why I registered during the pilot trial (run in NHS trusts and various other "crap-we-can't-afford-to-lose-them" public services): fewer applicants to process, higher likelihood of acceptance (kinda) since they really already know who we are. Once the thing went live, I expected the thing to crash, to be honest.

I'd say don't go in with the very first wave, but don't wait until the last moment either.

Yeah, we're looking at a balanced approach. The tricky thing is finding the right balance on a sinking ship.

A British guide to timing your reactions on a sinking ship:

Tea, crumpets and black humour will do while you see Tories fleeing the sinking ship
When the rats scurry off the ship, laugh at the German who put a towel down on a deck chair recently, then casually walk away
When you spot Grayling displaying a sign of competence, it is too late and even hell has forsaken you

I hope Brexiteers weren't banking on a space industry payday, the first privately funded moon landing crashed thanks to an engine with 'Made In Britain' stamped on it.

    Oops.

Edit: tongue in cheek, they're rocket scientists - i'm anything but.

Well from the sound of it today:
May plans to fudge together some changes to the PD with Corbyn to get MV4 passed between end of Easter recess and EU elections, of course if that will work out or not remains to be seen.

But that would avoid her "problem" of the Queen's Speech, because we all know what happens if MV4 passes and we actually leave: May doesn't just have the Sword of Damocles above her head, but BoJo the Clown armed with an entire sword factory.
