Meanwhile Iain Duncan Smith tries to explain to Pascal Lamy, former Director-General of the WTO and formeeEU Trade commissioner, why the N.I. soft border problem can easily be fixed with existing "technology".

    Lamy's response:

I think politicians are starting to lose their minds, how does she plan on getting her deal through when the speaker has said parliament can't vote on the same deal in the same session, she's literally created a catch 22 situation.

I think it's to stave off the embarassment and govt-ending consequences of having a Queen's Speech voted down.

the govt-ending consequences is probably of greater concern than any embarassment... they are largely immune to shame at this point.

Well so far among many other things we've got: Make contradictory promises to everyone, jump in bed with out-and-out bigots, become less popular than Grayling...

So backing herself into a catch 22 situation doesn't seem so far fetched.

I don't think it's Theresa May anymore, she's clearly been killed and replaced with a robot by a cabal of Bluekip financiers and their secret mad science division.

What makes me laugh is when Conservatives go on telly and say "The chaos of a Corbyn government", it's not that i disagree with them as i think he would be an awful PM and he has the potentially to really cock things up, but to imply that what we've got now isn't chaos is just laughable.

Added to that is from what i can make out the current government doesn't want to risk having the Queen's speech voted down and a potential GE that would result from that because apparently they don't like the idea that the will of the people could well be to elect a Corbyn government.

Talk about treating people as useful idiots, we'll let you vote on leaving the EU but won't let you vote on a new government, and we'll let you vote on leaving the EU because parliament is at an impasse but we won't let you have another vote when parliament is at another impasse, gaming the system to get what you want doesn't really cut it.

So the Labour farce continues as well with Corbyn not unequivocally backing a second referendum.

Meanwhile, supposedly quoted by a Tory remainer MP, the only way to save to the Tory Party and the country is to now back a no deal.

Absolutely no clue, none of them.

Maybe time for us all to vote Lib Dem, the level of incompetance across Labour and the Conservatives is monumental.
The SNP is an option in Scotland, but in all honesty I don’t have an urge break away from the UK.

Yep, even if we disregard the idea if Scotland should be independent from the UK or not there is a huge problem that the SNP pretty much ignores:

The UK has some relatively minor integration with the EU stemming from a couple decades and look how hard it is to untangle that already, but what does the SNP do?
"Brexit is bad and hard to figure out but removing centuries of extremely deep integration Scotland and rest of UK? We'll get that right in a short time".

No surprise, that leak was extremely damaging for the American propaganda war against China as it exposed the truth that Huawei 5G hardware only has generic security vulnerabilities rather than backdoors for the Chinese government.

Is the Huawei kit phoning home to China? Possibly, but it's nothing we can't deal with --GCHQ on the Huawei kit that's currently being used in the 3g/4g networks [iirc]

Also this marks a rare and unheard of event... Maybot actually making a decision on something...

    EDIT -

Penny Mordaunt is the new Defence Minister -
