As Maybot is powered down for the final time her speech processor repeats a phrase over and over...

    '...the Brexit people voted for'

    So rule change confirmed then?

The only reason they would have to hold off publishing the result of the rule change vote is to avoid injecting the sh*t in the fan with cholera due to the election in less than 24 hours...

It would be hilarious if maybot didn't resign... and they open the envelope to find colonel mustard in the parlour with the lead pipe they'd voted for no rules change

Perhaps they have two envelopes --one that suggests they voted for no rule change in case she resigns (in which case they can pretend that they respected the rules all along), and one that suggests they did in case she doesn't (in which case they can pretend they got rid of her by fair process). ;)

Looks like May's being punished by having to [still] be PM during Trump's visit:

My hope is that Bojo the clown provokes the DUP into exiting the government and forcing a General Election.

I can't see him offering them a deal that keeps the NI border open and preserves the GFA. I was expecting Maybot to be allowed to cling on until circumstances killed Brexit off, then Bojo could ride the next five years on a tide of being the plucky underdog defeated by corrupt forces out of his control.

Either way, highly energised airborne faecal matter, meet electromagnetically actuated rotational atmospheric pressure manipulation device.

My only hope now is they elect a new leader that is so pro hard Brexit that it pushes enough of the moderate MPs to the point where votes on a second referendum could pass.

Remember how Corbyn was elected on a 'joke ballot' in Labour's leadership contest? Would it not be truly beautiful for May to be added to the Conservative leadership contest as a joke candidate, only to be re-elected?
