    Indeed. Couldn't agree more.

Not sure how that can happen at the moment. The Tories already plan to move the boundaries in this sitting to make it easier for them to stay in power.

Biggest take away from this election is: if you are relatively young and have skills, move the **** abroad. Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the EU if you can manage it. Time to leave before you get sucked down with the sinking ship.

Us Brits are Captains of our own ship, we have to stay rather than run away.

Edit: That said i'd probably move to Finland (i'm just a deckhand afterall) but my Finnish partner prefers it here.

    At the moment.

Fook that I'm a Yorkshireman first and British second. Canada wouldn't have me, Australia and Germany are next on the list...

A quarter of it's on fire, another quarter fells like it is, and what's left is run by Boris/Trump-grade bellends. I'd pass on Australia.

They vote for Tories, they lose their jobs, they get told by the job centres to pick strawberries to fill the gap. Vicious circle.

Germany is quite nice. The people are a little grumpy here in Bavaria, but if you're not one for that "have a nice day" culture that's been infecting the UK, then it's great.

They can't drive though. I think I've only had two or three days in the last two months where I haven't seen an accident that's closed either the entire road or enough of the lanes that it's stop-start traffic.

Ha, yeah that's why the good lady doesn't want to go 'home' and has been here 20+years. I've only had long holidays there but holidays aren't the same as living somewhere.

It's also why we came back from NZ. Don't get me wrong, it's lovely, we just find living here better - even with everything going on.

Plus it's a short hop to the mainland.

to be honest, I'd not considered her as a black politician - she's just a politician

Sadly, in the last 2 years, she's seriously let herself and her team down. Her recent interviews have been an utter road crash, a train wreck. That 2017 debacle about (doing what we all want) employing 10,000 more police, and then quoting it was gonna cost £300k and then deciding it was gonna cost £80 million which is also utter tosh was horrendous. I heared her on the Radio within the last 6 months and she was incoherent

Thank goodness we don't have someone like that running the country then. ;)

Me too, I consider her as a politician but I remember her as the first black woman MP. She's not good at interviews, however she isn't the only one who is incoherent and weak on maths and the amount of abuse she get is a lot.

It is a nice example of how Dianne Abbott is vilified by the public as a Dumb Black Woman, while the equally uninformed and bumbling Boris Johnson gets away with it because he is a White Male Etonian.

And he can't even add up hospitals.

Or you get those that are good with numbers but those numbers are all lies.

To be fair, the evil BBC doesn't make the wine crate / hospital exchange rate their main story every day, so please donate some sympathy to his epic struggle:p
